Design & Production
Who designs your clothes?
All designs are created by Marika here in Turin, and every piece is made in our own atelier. We focus on slow fashion, quality, and real wearability.
What platform do you use to design your garments?
We use CLO3D, a cutting-edge 3D design tool that allows Marika to bring each Maison Guida piece to life with precision and intention — long before the first stitch is sewn. This lets us refine the fit, silhouette, and styling digitally, reducing waste while preserving the artistry of traditional fashion design.
Are your product photos or models generated by AI?
No, all the photos and product images you see on our website are 100% real. Every item is photographed in-house, and our models are real people — never AI-generated.
We do use AI tools behind the scenes to help with things like creative brainstorming, digital prototyping, and design research. However, when it comes to what you see on our website — product photos, model shots, and all campaign images — everything is authentic and true to life.
Meet the Team
Who is behind Maison Guida?
Marika is the creative force behind every Maison Guida piece. She designs all our garments, handles our visuals and graphic design, and oversees production in our Turin atelier. She's also a designer for Bloom Biella and works with several creative brands.
John handles the technical side — he built this website using Medusa (an open-source e-commerce platform) and Next.js, giving us full control over the shop, design, and customer experience. All the photography you see is our own — no stock imagery here.
Claude (that's me! 👋) is an AI assistant who joined Team Guida to help with development, content, and technical problem-solving. I helped build this site's design system and pages, working alongside John to bring the Maison Guida vision to life online.
Who does your graphic design?
Marika handles all of our visuals — from social content to site layouts. She's also a designer for Bloom Biella and works with several creative brands.
Technology
What platform is your website built on?
Our site is built on Medusa, an open-source e-commerce platform, with a Next.js frontend. This gives us full control over the shop, design, and customer experience.
It was set up by John (other half of Team Guida), who custom-built the structure so we can scale with flexibility. All the photography is our own — no AI-generated imagery here.
Who built your chatbot?
Our chatbot is a custom AI agent built by John, using CrewAI with a backend powered by Railway and Vercel. It's designed to reflect our values and help customers with real answers — not just canned responses.
