About Maison Guida
The clothes you've been looking for exist. Marika Guida has been making them in Turin since 2005. Trained in stage and costume design. No safety net. Just a domestic sewing machine, fisherman pants, and 20 years of getting better at the craft. She holds the Certificato di Eccellenza Artigiana - Italy's formal recognition of master artisan status. She is the designer: every silhouette, every pattern, every decision about cut and fabric starts with her. The atelier at Lungo Po is where it all happens. Fabrics from Biella mills, wool from historic Piedmont producers, linen from Italian and EU suppliers, technical polyester from Italy when the piece needs to be waterproof. Named materials, honest trade-offs, nothing hidden. Genderless means exactly that: the pieces are designed for a body and a life, not a gender category. Luisa owns many of our coats. So does Elena, who loves our jackets. Giuseppe wanted a fleece tailcoat, and his trousers are the same model Valentina chose. People matter here, really matter. The fit works because the design was never limited to begin with. Behind the scenes, John handles the website, photography, and built the digital infrastructure that makes this work. Carla runs the marketing. It is a small operation and we think that is a strength.
