We make ours in a 280gsm wool-cotton blend. Heavy enough to block the wind that comes down from the Alps. Light enough to carry over your arm when the sun comes out at noon.

How We Wear It

Unbuttoned, always. Over a knit or a cotton shirt. Never over a suit jacket — that's what the winter coat is for. The spring overcoat is for the days when you're not quite sure what the weather will do.

We cut ours slightly longer than most — mid-thigh rather than hip length. It moves better when you walk. And in Turin, you walk.
